- 5 month+ contract based in Sydney South West
Large Enterprise organisation requires an Infrastructure Designer based Sydney South West for an initial 5 month contract that could extend long term.
In this role, you will design and optionally implement the ICT infrastructure to ensure the delivery of high quality IT services to the broad range of customers and users utilising the services of the client.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include the following:
- Planning, designing and optionally implementing the ICT Server infrastructure and its associated software located in the data centres and business network environments; as well as the virtualised server infrastructure and its associated software located in the data centres and business network environments
- Ensuring that IT services are aligned with the business goals of the organization
- Working with key users to assess their needs, review the quality of services provided and plan for new service provision from a technical viewpoint
To be considered for an interview, applicants must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Extensive design experience in:
- Windows server environment
- a Citrix MetaFrame thin-client environment
- server virtualisation technologies, especially VMware.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Current NSW driver's licence
