IT Security Operations Manager - Risk, CISSP, CISM, CISA
A leading blue chip with a substantial IT function in the North West is looking for a IT Security Operations Manager on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will Lead the IT Security Operations Function: Define the services, operating model and supporting processes for the IT Security Operations function and lead the team to deliver these.
Skills/Experience
- Management experience in a technical security discipline.
- Significant experience in a combination of risk management, information security, IT Security and IT roles.
- Strong technical background in the field of security technologies and architectures.
- Knowledge of technological trends and developments in the area of IT and Information security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills; and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences. Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of security and control frameworks, such as ISO 27001, CobiT, COSO and ITIL. Professional certification, such as a CISSP, CISM, CISA or other information security credentials, is preferred.
- Experience with contract and vendor negotiations with an emphasis on vendor management.
- Ability to build, lead and develop high performing teams.
- Understanding of emerging trends, developments and current issues facing the UK retail financial services industry.
