Our Financial Services client is seeking a Financially qualified Project Manager to lead an overall Group Finance Reporting Project and ensure Group Finance project deliverables are met to required quality within agreed timeframes and budget.
Job detail:
Delivery of project within Group Finance
Ensuring the Group Finance project is aligned to, and delivers against, the programme objectives
Planning and monitoring the project's (including workstreams) progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate
Keeping all key stakeholders aware of project progress and issues
Managing the aggregate project budget, monitoring the expenditure and costs, and reporting into the Programme Manager on this
Quality Assurance and overall integrity of the project
Reporting workstream/project portfolio progress at regular intervals to the Programme Manager
Essential skills:
Demonstrable track record of successful delivery of large-scale, high-profile strategic change projects
Educated to degree or MBA level to be able to meet the intellectual demands of the job
Demonstrable track record of working with technology partners in delivering technological solutions
Minimum of 6 years complex Project Management experience
Project Management experience gained in a complex Financial Services environment
Experience of working within a finance function
Financial qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Appreciation of the challenges with Regulatory reporting especially in the current environment
Knowledge and experience of implementing/working with complex finance related systems
Strong man management and motivational skills
