Description
Project Manager contract opportunity with a global client in Sydney's CBD. My client is undertaking an exciting greenfield project to design & implement a new data centre. You will be joining this project from inception and the Project Manager will play a critical role in the technical deployment & business engagement. This is a $5-10m project which will have an impact across the whole of the organisation.
Our client requires someone who has been through a similar process before and can add real value from their prior experience of building data centres. This is an initial 6 month contract on an expected 18 month project.
Essential Experience:
- 5 years Project Management
- Managing budgets between $2-10m
- Strong Vendor Management skills
- Previous Data Centre build experience
- Understanding of technologies including - vmware, storage, networking, blades, IBM P-Series, Windows, Linux/Unix
- Project Reporting
