We are currently assisting a client located in the Malvern area with an immediate opportunity for a QA Test Developer. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity with an industry leading organization.
Description:
This position will be responsible for developing test automation after gathering requirements and writing test cases.
Position Requirements:
- Selenium (with Java code)
- Proactive self starter with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of UNIX commands, environments, Servers and tools
- Fundamental experience with Object Oriented programming (Java, C#, C++)
- Test boundaries by writing scenarios against user stories
- Webstore/Mobile Products Development support
Position Responsibilities:
-Work with developers to create test plans from functional specifications
-Represent Quality Assurance in design, function requirements, code reviews, and architecture reviews
-Review test scripts and test plans across Development and QA
-Work with developers to create/extend unit test cases and share test code
-Participate in static code inspections and design reviews
-Establish test strategy and test case design for component testing utilizing application interfaces
-Work with QA Automation and Performance Engineering teams to leverage/share methodologies across QA and Development departments
