Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting an Operations Accountant to provide maternity cover within an established organisation in Shrewsbury. The successful candidate will work independently providing cost, business analysis and financial advice across a range of business issues and departments.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Compile and analyse data to develop specialised reporting to make and influence business decisions.
- Analyse product line and process profitability
- Forecast future product costs
- Provide and monitor pricing and costing data
- Track and reconcile credits
- Oversee capital expenditure, standard costing and inventory reporting
Applicants must have a proven track record of providing financial advice and support, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Preferably candidates will hold a relevant financial qualification, or alternative be of degree calibre. Candidates should be intermediate users of Excel. Strong communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and strong leadership skills are essential.
