JOB DESCRIPTION:
National retail organization is looking to add a Quality Assurance Tester to their team for a 6 month plus assignment. You will serve on the Product & Order Management team on the FOREsight program. You must be capable of executing all testing phases, including component, system, integration, performance, stress, usability, pilot, customer, batch, and regression testing. You must have demonstrated skills in providing test sizings, creating/reviewing test cases, schedules and managing internal and customer test plans. You will also be responsible for facilitating defect reviews and other associated testing meetings.

Note: Manager - likes passionate QA people - people that will hold their own w/dev and pms that are not as commited to qa

Generally these are complex systems and people who have worked on complex apps like financial or other retail are preferred - plus lg database exp

Required skills -

• 4+ years experience in testing
• Must have an intermediate knowledge of SQL and SQL commands
• Experience with integration testing.
• Experience writing test cases, creating bug reports, executing and tracking testing assignments
• Experience in data validation and cross-system testing
• Experience in Client Server testing
• Experience in web based testing is a plus
• Experience in HP Quality Center or other Test Management Suites is a plus
• Experience in QTP or other automated test tools is a plus

Note you must be able to work until 5 pm onsite daily due to the demands of this project and the nature of the work. During test execution and peak project efforts, candidate must be able to work later hours or on weekends as needed. Position is located in the Johns Creek area
