Description
You will participate in customer projects that typically last from 5 to 8 months. You will be working as a web developer on a team comprised of internal colleagues and the customer's web developers. The position requires that you act as an inspiring consultant, teacher and conscientious partner with the customer's web developers. To be considered for the position, you need to be able to communicate in a structured and professional manner and have the confidence to act independently. You must also be extroverted, a problem solver, service minded and committed to honoring agreements with clients to ensure on-time delivery. Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
- Experience with several of the following technologies: JAVA, JSP, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, XSLT, Unix/Linux and web Servers in general
- 3 + years of experience in the development, implementation and support of web/mobile solutions (preferably for the media industry)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Experience with Web Content Management Systems (preferably Escenic, DRUPAL, or similar)
- The preferred applicant should have experience working in a Scrum, Agile Development environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with product managers to determine scope, use-cases and specifications for new functionality.
- Experience working with Oracle WebLogic environments a plus.
- You should expect 60-120 travel days per year related to meetings and implementations with our customers.
