brief project description: As Characterisation Engineer, you will be a member of the test and product engineering group and will work together with design, product, quality and package & assembly engineers in multifunctional design teams. These teams develop new products in state of the art processes like LDMOS Gen9 and GaN.

scope of work: The core of your work is translating the specifications derived from the customer application into a test circuit used in production. You will focus on the actual testing of the products developed. This includes writing the test scripts, building and tuning the RF test circuits using equipment like RF spectrum analysers, RF power meters, and AC & DC supplies. Analysing the data including embedding/de-embedding and reporting the conclusions in the project team is part of your skills.
