One of our clients is urgently looking for a SCADA system Business analyst/Functional analyst for an initial 10 Months contract based in Brussels. The rates are currently negotiable. Start date is 1st March (ideally)

Skills and Experience:

Spoken Dutch and/or French at business level + fluent English

ICT project management background

Functional analysis skills ability to produce specifications for systems or business components

Sound knowledge of field protocols, data acquisition systems & networks.

Sound knowledge of technical matters like databases, database queries, and reporting.

Background knowledge on gas flow management domain is an asset

Knowledge of architecture techniques and structures

Able to do bottom-up reconstruction of application functionalities, starting from technical documentation.

Analytical and synthesizing skills to clearly define problems and requirements and determine solutions for them that suit the needs with controllable impact on mission-critical applications.

Duties:

Analyze, understand and document business requirements or problems.

Analyze existing documentation and gather information from within the Project Team and from the business.

Take initiatives for meetings with the business and the team and be responsible for the follow up.

Produce & follow-up test scenarios on a component and at system level
