Supply Chain Planner, Inventory Optimizer IO - Berkshire (6-9 month contract)
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager this exciting role will be key in the implementation of new Inventory management process.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for last phase of implementation of Inventory management process & system solution.
- Provide training and coaching to Inventory Planner
- Produce a proposal for optimum stock targets ( based on IO results)
- Maintain optimum stock targets with the focus on balance between Service, Capital Employed and Obsolescence
- Close collaboration with Sales & Supply team on adopting the new Inventory process
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
- 2-5 years experience of working with Inventory Optimizer is a must (Supply chain Strategist or Supply chain Planner from i2/JDA an advantage).
- AMICS (or similar) qualification/experience.
- Demonstrable inventory improvement experience.
- Experience with other inventory optimizations software's will be advantage.
- Highly enthusiastic andmotivated with strong influencing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
