Oracle BI Architect

NEW 6 month contract live - Dublin City Centre

Overview of Role:

With solid experience in the delivery of Business Intelligence solutions, you will design and implement the data loading (ETL) and pub lishing processes within the DW/BI environment, multi-dimensional models, including the construction of Dimensions and Facts (with hierarchies, attributes, and measures) and reporting applications including (but not limited to) BI dashboards, ad-hoc analysis and reporting and static reports.

Responsibilities

  • Development role in Oracle Business Intelligence. This role will develop Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence solutions using Oracle tools and underlying technologies for our extensive client base in the financial services space
  • Promote the use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and concepts across the organisation
  • Work with other divisions to understand business process challenges and identify solution opportunities within Business Intelligence area.
  • Translate project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications.
  • Design and implement multi-dimensional models, including the construction of Data View, Dimensions, and Cubes while adhering to enforced development methodologies.
  • Design and implement reporting applications including (but not limited to) BI dashboards, reporting cubes and static reports.
  • You should have a strong foundation and understanding of Dimensional Modelling and OLAP principles and experience in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) would also be a distinct advantage.
