Notes: Candidates are not required to have a 4 year degree, but it is preferred.
Candidates must have experience in monitoring Switches and inventory accuracy with regard to switch equipment
Candidate must have advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook
Description:
Manage the integrity of all switch equipment inventories by maintaining 96% (or better) accuracy levels on all cycle counts by location including Switches, switch ship to's and switch spares, etc. Reconcile and maintain inventory accuracy on all equipment at switch-related locations.
Perform scanning of serialized equipment. Process inventory transfers, adjustments and purchase order receipts for all switch equipment activity. Maintain and manage all scanner transaction errors related to switch locations and switch spares locations within defined timelines.
Create, monitor and close return material authorizations for switch and switch spares equipment returned to vendor for repair. Monitor location for accurate balance information. Provide reporting on activity as needed.
Provide routine reporting regarding switch equipment inventory activity and ad hoc reports, when needed.
Analyze inventory levels for proper disposition of equipment and work with switch engineering and switch operations staff to manage the retirement of equipment. Prepare equipment for shipping. Arrange for transportation of approved equipment to appropriate location.
Skills required:
Basic understanding of accounting and fixed assets.
Must possess strong analytical skills; be well-organized and able to work under time pressure to meet deadlines and daily goals.
Must be available to work overtime, when needed.
Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work with others without conflict and achieve goals.
Should be self-motivated and results-oriented.
Strong written and oral communication skills including a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Wireless scanning experience is a plus.
Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
Candidate should be able to lift approximately 50 lbs, unassisted and use basic hand tools
