My client, a Tier 1 Investment Banking Institution, has a requirement for a Senior Business Analyst with in depth understanding of front to back trade flow within Investment Banking to join a global Finance Transformation Program. The project will focus on regulatory driven business process changes surrounding STP efficiency for the bank's Money Markets and Derivatives business. There will be a specific focus on improving manual processes and current inefficient trade capture processes. The ultimate aim is to implement a superior front to back solution from trade capture down to the General Ledger. In this position you will be responsible for defining and documenting business and systems architecture, use cases and future state. Please note this is a business process change focussed role. To be successful in this role it is essential that you have worked as a Senior Business Analyst in the following areas and have exposure to the following:
- OTC Derivatives/Money Markets with an in depth understanding of front to back trade processes from trade capture through to GL
- Recent experience working as a Business Analyst delivering business process improvements in the trade life cycle
- In depth understanding of trade capture processes
- Outstanding end to end Business Analyst skills gained in a similar heavily Business Change orientated OTC environment
- Pre-settlement trade life cycle experience
- Trade matching engines experience
- Markitwire experience beneficial
- Derivatives Clearing
- Front and Middle Office Interactions and Workflow
- Strong understanding of P+L and Risk
