Overview -

Revenue Credits (RC) are a transaction based measure of 'value-add' awarded to the Global Markets Sales force for the distribution of Global Markets Products. Revenue Credits are used as a measure of salesperson, client and product value creation, and are used as a mechanism for allocating the costs associated with the sales function to the various trading businesses.

As part of this re-structure of this leading Investment Bank, there is now the need for visibility of Revenue and Revenue Credits reporting. This role is to support the analysis and requirements to deliver an integrated sales performance platform across the 3 business lines in a phased manner.

Responsibilities -

* Define operating model, business processes, target architectures, and implementation roadmaps
* Work with key SME's to understand the complexities of business integration and agree data and hierarchy structures to be implemented
* Understand and document the processes required to execute the RC Enhancements/Integration
* Understand and capture the flow of data across the system landscape for RC capture, reporting and maintenance of data
* Analysis and recommendation of sales and client data ownership and governance in target state
* Working with key SME's to perform an impact assessment of the business integration, hierarchy changes, and RC methodology changes on the existing platform and reporting outputs
* Spreadsheet/access and system analysis to understand complex client mapping and rules definition

Essential skills -

* Strong Business Analyst with a background in Platform Integration, Reference Data Analysis and Process Mapping
* Ability to quickly understand current processes and data flows and work with key SME's to develop target state processeses
* Ability to clearly document in detailed target process and work with onshore and offshore teams to implement
* Experienced with Excel and ability to work with large volumes of data
* Ability to determine and articulate solutions to complex data issues
* Ability to work in a fast paced and pressured environment in order to hit tight project deadlines
* Knowledge of Revenue Credit and Revenue Credit Reporting is sought after but not mandatory
* Product knowledge is an advantage but given the broad suite of products the business deal in, it is not a requirement to have an in depth knowledge across all.
* Successful candidate must be able to face off to senior management and present findings in a logical manner
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to discuss and escalate financial and technical issues are key attributes to the success of this role.
