Leading recruitment company, RP International, is looking for a Senior Business Solution Architect to be working in the Managed Services department in a Telecoms vendor. You will be based in Shenzhen, China, for a minimum of 12 months with regular global travel. You will be reporting to the Solution Development Director and will be responsible for translating business requirements on the IDC
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for translating the client's business requirements on IDC into specific systems, applications or process designs with interlocked financial modelling for very large complex technical solutions.
- Analyzes customer service requirements and designs service solutions to meet those objectives.
Duties include:
- Construct the specific solution, scope document, risk profile, and corresponding financials.
- Maintains and utilizes detailed industry and internal services knowledge in the construction of industry-leading services solutions.
- Construct specific and detailed solutions that encompass process, technology, and staffing plans for customer sales opportunities.
- Risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans relative to complex services proposals.
- Participates in the construction of detailed financial models that align with complex services proposals.
- Composes Statement of Work or other documents, using departmental automation tools as available, to craft detailed and accurate deliverables that specify processes, technology, staffing, and project management involved in proposed services solutions.
- Act as a trusted expert advisor and as a Subject Matter Expert for technical services, to both internal and external customers, ranging from formal advice to internal and external customer presentations.
- Follow all organizational Standard Operating Procedures relative to cost modelling, approvals and reviews, and all other associated workflow and deliverables.
- Lead Managed Services solution development team, improve development capability
- Analyze industrial MS capability and complete gap analysis
- Analyze market research and project requirement
- Develop managed services solution development approach
- Design/Develop Managed services/outsourcing solution architecture and delivery methodology.
- Support key managed services/outsourcing project presales and delivery.
Requirement for candidates:
- Bachelor's degree or above;
- Minimum 10 years of telecommunications working experience, at least 5 years of Managed Services or IT outsourcing solution delivery experience, IDC Managed Services solutioning experience is preferred.
- Skills and experience in constructing complex IDC Managed Services solutions, including strategic planning, assessment, design, and implementation on the following skill set: Microsoft technologies, such as Exchange , AD design, SharePoint, BI, etc. Virtualization Technologies (eg VMWare), with VCP certified is preferred Storage technologies: Dell/EMC Clariion storage, Backup Software/DR
- Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing related services processes and technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of assessing operational risk cause and effect on profitability.Experience in assessing service delivery cost driver attributes of complex services.Complete understanding and ability to construct, tailor, and negotiate service contract SOW for both customer engagement and partner provisioning
- Understand industrial delivery methodology of managed services/outsourcing projects

- Understand ITIL; Familiarity with ETOM is desired.
