Harvey Nash is currently looking for a quality reviewer for one of itscustomer based in Brussels.
Context
My customer is implementing early quality controls in IT projects. Thegoal of those early controls is to contribute to the overall quality ofsoftware deliveries by checking the project deliverable at specificmilestones. For major ICT projects, the quality controls will cover theproject management deliverables of, as well as the business analysis,technical analysis, development and testing documentation and process.The goal is to evaluate the quality of the deliverables produced in thecontext of the project w.r.t. my customer methodology, but also w.r.t.the business expectations. In this context, we are looking for aquality reviewer, able to execute the early quality controls and toformulate improvement proposals, for the controlled projects and wellas for the general ICT methodologies.
This is the scope of this demand.
Responsibility
The responsibilities of the quality reviewer are:
* To understand quickly what are the essentialcharacteristics and challenges of the projects the must control.
* Analyse the deliverables produced for selectedprojects and produce a report, based on existing checklists, but alsoby providing recommendations for the project team.
* Evaluate the maturity of the project deliverableson basis of standard scales.
* Communicate the results to the project team
* Communicate the results to the project supportoffice and the architecture team and discuss potential improvements tothe methodology/processes.
Technical skills
We are requiring solid knowledge of:
* Project Management techniques
* Business analysis and architectural principles
* The software development life cycle, includingAgile methodologies.
* Software testing methodologies
* Microsoft Office suite.
