DESCRIPTIONThe Field Engineer will actively promote residential energy efficiency programs.
Responsibilities:
- Implement residential HVAC and residential new construction efficiency programs in the field.
- Perform implementation activities including program analysis and monitoring of results for electric and natural gas conservation programs and projects.
- Implement projects that require engineering analysis or are complex and require significant technical capability.
- Determine the performance and energy savings for energy system modifications and improvements for organizational energy conservation programs and projects.
- Participate in the reporting, tracking, retrieval, and analysis of electric and natural gas energy conservation projects.
- Support the selection and management of contractor services for program implementation.
- Gather supporting material and data for regulatory requests, marketing collateral, and program evaluations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing required.
- Must have at least two (2) years of related experience.
- Must have valid drivers license and insurance.
- Must possess professional communication skills.
- Computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets, are required.
- Must be able to work independently and be results driven.
- Technical knowledge related to residential new construction, HVAC systems, and weatherization is desired.
- Real estate background is a plus.
- Experience in public presentation preparation and delivery preferred.
BS in Engineering, Business, or Marketing and 2 years of related experience
