DESCRIPTION

The Field Engineer will actively promote residential energy efficiency programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement residential HVAC and residential new construction efficiency programs in the field.
  • Perform implementation activities including program analysis and monitoring of results for electric and natural gas conservation programs and projects.
  • Implement projects that require engineering analysis or are complex and require significant technical capability.
  • Determine the performance and energy savings for energy system modifications and improvements for organizational energy conservation programs and projects.
  • Participate in the reporting, tracking, retrieval, and analysis of electric and natural gas energy conservation projects.
  • Support the selection and management of contractor services for program implementation.
  • Gather supporting material and data for regulatory requests, marketing collateral, and program evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing required.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of related experience.
  • Must have valid drivers license and insurance.
  • Must possess professional communication skills.
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets, are required.
  • Must be able to work independently and be results driven.
  • Technical knowledge related to residential new construction, HVAC systems, and weatherization is desired.
  • Real estate background is a plus.
  • Experience in public presentation preparation and delivery preferred.

BS in Engineering, Business, or Marketing and 2 years of related experience
