Description
DESCRIPTIONField Service Technician will perform field activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing products at customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Replace defective units/components as appropriate.
- Assist in the conduct of equipment/system acceptance testing following established procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Provide operation/maintenance instruction to customer personnel.
- Work with customer via phone to identify operation/technical problems.
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers as required.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure the phone is working.
- Requires the ability to work out of home, have a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation that is able to carry all the necessary tools and equipment, able to climb ladders and work on elevated platforms, and ability to lift 65 lbs.
- Must have four to six years of experience in test, service/refurbish, and repair of cellular products.
- Experienced in troubleshooting electronic equipment.
- Requires a detail orientated individual who has fine motor skills to work with intricate pieces.
SKILLS
