9 MONTHS MATERNITY COVER FROM JULY 20122 DAYS PER WEEK INCLUDING THURSDAY
£21,104 - £27,727 pro rata p.a.
The post holder is responsible for the delivery of general practice nursing to the whole practice
population. The focus of the role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients
presenting with a long-term condition and the provision of preventative health care to the practice population. The post holder will be supported in their role by more senior nurses and the GPs. They will work collaboratively within the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures, and provide nurse leadership as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The post-holder must be a registered nurse with a minimum of two years post-registration
experience.
•Experience of working across a range of clinical areas.
•Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
•Ability to work with all levels of staff as part of a multi-skilled team.
•Knowledge of the Primary Care Clinical IT systems (including EMIS).
