Description
Global-industry leader is looking for a Cisco Support Engineer. In this 6 month plus contract role, you will be responsible for managing multiple large-scale data center networks along with providing 3rd tier support, after hours and on-call. To be a fit for this position, you must have 8-10 years of relevant experience.
F5 LTM certification and Cisco CCNP certification are a big plus.

- Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- Strong knowledge of computer Network, DNS, Storage, and Wireless.
- Strong knowledge of Routing and Network Protocols.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of managing multiple large scale data center networks.
- Engineer will be responsible for 3rd level support, after hours and on-call.
- Engineer will perform packet capture and analyses, work directly with application and server hardware owners to isolate and resolve problems.
- Engineer will perform configuration and maintenance on F5 equipment.
- F5 load balancing, SSL certificate, iRule, SNAT, and health monitor check.
- The optimal candidate will have significant experience working in a large company environment.
- Knowledge and experience with Cisco HW, Routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
- Experience with Cisco Wireless (WIFI) solution, including Wireless Controllers, and AP.
- Experience with Cisco ASA VPN, DMVPN, and IPSec tunnel.
- Experience with NetScout to monitor circuit utilization and troubleshooting to isolate network or Server issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
