Description

We are looking for someone to work within the Systems development department to manage software development environments and to provide build definition for generation of the software, continuous integration, deployment automation and development infrastructure improvements.

Your key responsibilities will be to enhance and maintain the software builds, installation, configuration and deployment tools for enterprise scale applications.

Setting up Build and Deployment environments
Oversee SVN usage
Create Deployment Packages
Set up daily builds for the Development team
Setup continuous integration using Cruise control
Create Branches & Tags in SVN
Setup remote Deployment to various Test Servers

Essential Experience:

Experience in designing and creating release packages, testing and deploying and involvement with the control of integration of software builds for and in development environments.

Will have worked with Release Management function to ensure that planned deployments are handed over to Release control with suitable and sufficient documentation

The application of automated systems to the support of specific business functions or processes. Technical capabilities in software engineering, design and implementation in the following technologies: CruiseControl.NET, Windows Installer XML, Sub-Version (SVN) and Visual Source Safe. Exposure to any of the following would be a distinct advantage: NUnit, BizUnit, and C #.NET, Oracle, SQL Server, WebSphere and IIS.
