Our Client is currently looking for a highly skilled Cisco Engineer to join an exciting contract opportunity. You will be the driving force in carrying key customers to technical resolution. The position involves designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco products. This position allows you the opportunity to work for a well-respected industry leader
Responsibilities include: planning and deployment of temporary enterprise networks. The Network Engineer enables this to be achieved by delivering projects that exceed our customer's expectations, continuously improving our offerings, and collaborating with peers on best practices. You must have excellent leadership qualities, strong customer services skills and the ability to communicate effectively with our clients. The qualified candidate will have five plus years of experience as a Network Administrator/Network Engineer and a Bachelors degree in a computer science or related field. The qualified candidate will be a positive motivator, out of box thinker, creative, team player, possess strong customer services skills and be fiscally responsible.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Design network topologies and site configurations
- Direct network installations
- Operate and maintain the Local and Wide Area Networks
- Assist with plans, operations, engineering and installation of networks to new locations
- Monitor Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
- Direct and prioritize network troubleshooting and maintenance
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot network equipment - Routers and Switches
- Produce network configuration documentation and designs
- Work closely with network personnel to ensure dependencies are maintained
5+ years of experience
- TS/SCI Full Scope Poly
- Cisco routing and switching, and network architecture planning
- CCNA, CCNP
- Extensive experience in Layer 2 & Layer 3 technologies
- Experience in LAN, WAN, WLAN implementations
- Ability to deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks
- VPN - INSEC AWD SSL
- Experience with encryption devices
- CCIE highly desired
- Knowledge of Windows Server/Exchange, MCSE preferred
- Knowledge of VMware is preferred
