IT Infrastructure Manager - Financial Services - Insurance
My client is a leading Financial Services organisation based in the West Midlands. They are seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to join them ASAP for a permanent opportunity. The rate being offered is competitive.
Job Purpose
*Develop an IT Strategy supporting the company's objectives
*Managing operational teams
*Deliver and support infrastructure including Unix/Windows Servers, VMware, SAN technologies, Database Support, Mainframe, batch and backup operations across primary and secondary data centres.
*Change management, control and implementation based on ITIL framework. Defining and instigating change and implementation management strategies required to protect live operational systems.
*Ensuring robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans are in place
*Incident and Problem management
*Manage relationships with key suppliers
Essential
- Experienced in instigating, planning and delivering IT Projects
- Financial Services experience
- Service orientated
- Experienced in Business Continuity/Compliance Projects
- Extremely well organised with an attention to detail
- Articulate and able to operate at a Senior level
You will need technical experience in the following:
-Unix/Windows Servers
-Active Directory
-Exchange
-SAN - Storage
-VMware
-Network support
