Responsibilities:
In this role, you will act as or support the technical authority on control & automation, being the lead engineer in plant automation by defining and judging the control & automation architecture, and strategies and philosophies for your assigned projects.
-Provide inputs in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL studies etc.
-Ensure that the group policies and industry standards are adhered to as well as participating in technical audits and reviews.
-Provide technical support to projects on all matters relating to the system design, selection, specification, construction, factory acceptance testing, commissioning and performance of equipment for your assigned projects.
-Provide commercial input to all aspects of conceptual and detailed design and the purchase and the implementation of process automation and instrumented protective systems and filed instrumentation.
-Assure the adequacy of designs of contractors meet applicable standards.

Requirements:
With a relevant technical degree, you will have an extensive experience in process control and automation, ideally gained in the offshore oil and gas industry. You will enjoy contributing to and participating in various project teams and will be willing to get involved in a variety of projects.
You will have a thorough understanding of technologies and practices as they relate to oil and gas production facilities. You have a demonstrable record of achievement and in-depth knowledge of Control & Automation engineering and systems integrity. You are competent in the application/facilitation of SIL assessments, alarm management and availability studies.
You have experience in the engineering of gas & fire detection system and have knowledge of telemetry systems & TCP/IP communication networks, Modbus communication including cyber security.
You have knowledge of fiscal metering systems and are aware of project engineering, project management and cost estimate.

Qualification: Bachelor degree in the Control & Automation discipline or equivalent
