TTM Healthcare are recruiting a Cardiac Technician for a hospital Limerick city. This is a 1 year contract starting immediately.The successful applicants will have a minimum of one year post qualification experience with good non invasive and Cath Lab experience. This role requires an immediate start date.
The Cardiac Department assists in the diagnosis of abnormalities of the heart with the aid of ECG, Ultrasound, Doppler, Angiography and Pressure Monitoring. Open five days a week, Monday to Friday.
Tests are carried out on both in-patients and out-patients. All studies are reviewed and reported on by the Hospital Consultants and the subsequent reports are filed in the patients notes.
Services Provided: E.C.G. Holter Monitoring. BP Monitoring. Stress Testing. Echocardiography ( 2D, Doppler, Colour flow) Echocardiography bubble study, Pacemaker, ICD and Bi_Vent and loop recorder Follow-up checks. T.O.E. Pacemaker, ICD and Bi-Vent and Loop recorders Implants. Temporary Pacemaker Implants. Cardiac Catherization ( Coronary Angiography ), Angioplasty Stents, Balloon Pump, FFR. Event Monitoring, Myoview Stress Testing. I.C.D. follow-up checks
Requirements:
lBachelor of Science in Clinical Measurement or a Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement.
lHave at least a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience in a Cardiac Department in Ireland/UK.
lExcellent Communication skills.
lGood working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
lMust be available to start work immediately.
