This role will include Architecture, Design, Implementing, Supporting and Providing End-to-End Enterprise Virtualization Infrastructure Solutions for a growing business. You will be providing innovative and cutting edge technology solutions for Infrastructure Optimization. Your responsibilities will include assisting, supporting and working with other IT Infrastructure team engineers with implementation efforts of technology solutions in support of established business objectives for improved productivity and enhanced processes.
Responsibilities:
Assist with Enterprise Virtualization Strategy and Implementation, Data Centre Strategy: Assessments, Consolidation and Migration, Infrastructure Capacity Planning, Monitoring Optimization and Performance Management, Assist in the Design, Implementation, Support and Administration of the Virtualization Infrastructure, Provide Innovative and Cutting-edge Virtualization Solutions for: Data Centre, Server Desktop, Application, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Cross train with other team members to enhance a diverse support team. Interface with Business Process groups to design and enhance scalable systems that meet the needs of our customers. Perform daily systems checks and follow up on proactive system monitoring alerts. Help with streamlining system operation and maintain documentation.
Experience and Skills Required
Bachelor's Degree Minimum, 8+ years of Overall IT Experience, At least 4 years of Enterprise Class Virtualization Architecture and Design Experience, Experience Designing and Implementing Shared Storage Solutions in a Virtualized Environment, VMware vSphere 4.x,/5.0 ESXi4, Migration, P2V, VI3 Suite - ESX 3.5, Virtual Center, VCB, H/A, DRS, vSphere VMA and CLI, PowerCLI, VMware Storage Management and Provisioning, Virtualization Infrastructure Monitoring, Desktop, Designing, Implementing and Administering Highly Available/Failover, flexible, and load balanced environment for Virtualization - Citrix and VMware OS and Application provisioning methodologies.
