Description
Our client, one of the largest enterprises in Ireland, has a major SAP implementation underway and is entering the testing phase, and they are looking for SAP testers to join their team.
The role will involve:
Configuring two new company codes on our clients SAP Platform
Adopt our clients processes to achieve standardisation
Avoid any unnecessary customisations
Switch on Sales & Distribution and AR modules - for billing of customers
Stop using Oracle Financials at a point in time, and commence transactional processing on SAP
Limit data migration to reference data, open line items, GL balances and FAR assets
No historical data migration
Retain Oracle Financials as a read-only system for 7 years for historical enquiry
Change 2 existing interfaces to Oracle Financials so they now feed SAP
Consider opportunity to implement B2B for all SAP users
SAP Modules impacted by the change would be:
FICO
FI: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets
CO: Internal Audit, Cost Centre, Profit Centres
SD: Order related billing
MM: Logistics: Purchasing, Inventory Management.
The ideal SAP Test Analyst/Tester will:
- Have strong hands on testing experience with 3+ years in pure test focused roles
- Have tested SAP on a number of occasions, and will have a strong functional and technical understanding of specific modules (FICO, SD, MM)
- Be capable of understanding and following test design documents, and following industry best practice to ensure that all testing is done to the correct standards.
