Windows Systems Administrator - Charlotte, NC - 6month contract
Windows Systems Administrator provides support and administration for process control and other related systems; must have strong experience creating and developing images and working with scripts, etc.
Duties include:
Configuration and installation of Windows 2003, 2008, XP based Servers and workstations, with an emphasis on image creation and maintenance, installation and upgrades of operating system and layered commercial software, backups, system availability monitoring, security monitoring, anti-virus administration, and day-to-day support of system engineers and end users.
Requirements:
Must be well rounded in all facets of systems administration and possess the ability to quickly assess and take ownership of a situation with a commitment to work until a resolution is found.
Worked in a large enterprise environment, McAfee Solidifier and ePO exp.
Periodic travel to substations environments for installations and checkouts is expected.
Preferred:
Utility and/or SCADA background, Substation Data Manager Administration, Subnet Solutions ESNET application administration, NERC CIP and SCADA Security understanding. SEL Relay Engineering software applications, File transfer applications such as Sure Sync and SFTP.
Local candidates preferred; Must be able to work W-2 hourly; No Corp to Corp allowed.
