Description
Senior Electrical & Senior Mechanical Engineer required ASAP - Initial 3 month contract - Glasgow
2 x positions for an electrical and a Mechanical Engineer. Reporting to the Group Manager (Mechanical/Electrical) within the Project Support Group of Project Management and Design.
Requirements:
* Degree/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
Previous experience in managing electrical building projects from inception to completion
*You will be fully responsible for the design and specification of the full range of Mechanical/electrical services involved in modern building services engineering
*You will form part of a design team alongside other construction professionals including architects, engineers and surveyors on a range of multi-disciplinary projects
*You will take the Contract Administrator role in major mechanical/electrical projects
*You will be capable of producing your own CAD Drawings on Bentley Microstation
*You will be familiar with Microsoft Office and an electrical software calculation package such as Cymap or Hevacomp
Candidates must also:
* Be fully conversant with IEE Wiring Regulations and demonstrate ability to carry out wiring calculations
OR
* Be fully conversant with mechanical legislation and standards relating to water, heating, ventilation and air conditioning services
* Demonstrate expert knowledge in the design of all building electrical and communication services to relevant British Standards
* Public sector experience is also an advantage
