Project/Department Description and responsibilities

*Beerse and EMEA IT Infrastructure for Pharma Portfolio, GPM EMEA Environment Development Tool(s) and Platform(s)

General experience and understanding of:

*Windows 200X Server Platform incl. SQL, IIS, Sharepoint

*Active knowledge of SharePoint as collaboration and reporting tool

*VMWare, Citrix

*LAN, WAN, WLAN as a plus

*Unix, Oracle as a plus

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

*Manage regional and local infrastructure supporting upgrading/replacing/decommissioning of IT infrastructure at EMEA.

*Supporting the Pharma Portfolio, taking into account ITS guidelines and procedures, taking into account complex application environments.

*Group, prioritize and optimize those requests.

*Leverage from both infrastructure as application perspective

*Take responsibility for gathering project requirements, define/document solutions and associated cost pictures

*Responsible for coordination and communication with application owners on all levels in the organization

*Responsible for identifying appropriate resources needed, develop and execute project plans, and assign individual responsibilities

*Function as a team player/builder

*Track, schedule and manage issues to ensure ITS commitment dates and project deliverables are met

*Deliver projects within requested timeframe and budget

Technical profile requirements

*Project Management experience in an international and multicultural environment (plan, schedule, issue tracking/remediation, risk analysis, etc.)

*Computer infrastructure operations or deployment background

*Experience with end user support integrations or environments (ITIL)

Non-Technical profile requirements

*Strong team player as to the executing global program team as to the application stakeholders

*Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills

*Strong leadership skills and able to motivate teams is a must

*Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements

*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

*Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision

*Quick learner, motivated self-starter

*Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills

*Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines

*Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)

*Travel can occur occasionally but will be limited within EMEA region for short trips of max. 5 days

Methodology/Certification requirements

*Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred

*Additional PMP or Prince 2 certification is a plus

Languages

*English spoken and written

*Dutch, German, and/or French are a plus
