Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, are currently seeking a Senior Liferay Analyst-Developer to work on a long term contract in The Hague, Netherlands.
Our client based in The Hague currently have a vacancy for a Senior Liferay Analyst - Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in The Hague. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.
Your tasks:
" Analysis and further specification of technical options;
" Design and implementation of the user role model using Liferay Portal Enterprise Edition;
" Configuration and recommendation of possible changes in topology and sizing of the applications;
" Provide assistance for the analysis of security requirements and the implementation of security controls;
" Creation of technical design documentation, technical documentation for technical architecture, installation and deployment handover;
" Knowledge transfer to developers, technical coaching.
Your skills:
" University degree, with minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in advance software development in J2EE environments and tools;
" Minimum 2.5 years of proven professional experience with Liferay Portal Enterprise or Community Edition, including developing customizations;
" Minimum 1 year of proven practical experience with Liferay portal Enterprise Edition version 6;
" Minimum 5 years experience with Tomcat and Microsoft SQL server;
" Experience in Ajax, Microsoft platforms and MySQL is considered an advantage;
" Excellent command of the English language.
