An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a Marketing Copywriter to embark on a 6 month Fixed-Term contract with one of our large, Guildford based clients.

The Employed Consultant Division within Elan Computing, Europe's leading IT&T supplier, has an opportunity for a Marketing Copywriter to start ASAP. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for Elan Computing on a Fixed Term Contract basis and to work on a specific "Assignment" to our clients.

Assignment on Offer
The Marketing Copywriter will be required to support the marketing delivery team to ensure that the entire organisation's print and digital communications, are well written and consistently reflect their tone.
The role sits within a Matrix structure and is part of the Marketing Delivery Team. The jobholder will need to support the marketing delivery team by both generating and providing guidance and support for written marketing communication deliverables.

Key Accountabilities
*Support the marketing delivery team to generating or commission timely, attractive and engaging with clear calls to action. This includes both creating copy, editing and coaching staff to develop outstanding copy.
*Ensure the client's written communication is attractive and easy to read by maintaining a good writing style (including the principles of plain English) - for both print and digital publishing. Use the organisation's tone of voice which reflects their identity as expert, caring and bold to create well-crafted communications.
*Manage the workflow of editorial requests are prioritised and work is returned in a timely manner.
*Develop sets of exemplars across subjects using a new tone of voice.
*Promote writing and editorial training in the team and throughout the business, when required.
*Proofread a range of materials and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Coach staff on proofreading techniques.
*Undertake other responsibilities as they arise.

Qualifications/Experience required
Essential
*Degree or equivalent professional qualification and/or significant relevant experience in communications
*A very high standard of writing ability which demonstrates a tone of voice style across a range of media ie publications, social media, digital applications
*A very high standard of writing ability which demonstrates a tone of voice style across a range of media ie publications, social media, digital applications
*A very high standard of editorial ability
*Ability to consult and influence others to achieve objectives, demonstrating excellent facilitation and negotiation skills to improve communications
*Ability to project manage effectively, work under pressure to tight deadlines and prioritise workload ensuring quality is maintained
