Security Administrator has the responsibility to utilise the tools available within the security system to ensure compliance with policies and procedures designed for the delivery of Security Services to Clients.Responsibilities- Administers the Security Databases, as per the responsibilities Matrix utilising the functions of the security system, in line with current procedures
- Achievement of low cost day to day administration
- Accepts the ownership and responsibility for the accurate and timely execution of tasks assigned.
- Problem management. (24 X 7 Support)
- The Security Administrator is responsible for meeting, and where possible, exceeding customer expectations. All contractual obligations are met and the Security Administrator aims to add 'value' to the customer.
- Producing SLA based measurement data
Achievement of contractual requirements:
- Audit Compliance/Security
- Adheres to both Global Client and customers security policies and procedures
- Completes audit tasks as per the task documentation to maintain audit readiness
- Business compliance
The employee will carry out and ensure compliance with;
- Current Global Client security policies (ITCS104, ITCS300).
- Current Global Client GS customer specific security policies including GSD331 & GSD332.
- Current customer account specific security policies.
- Defined deliverables as part of Global Client projects, both internal to the Global Client and customer centric projects.
- Relevant national and international security standards and best practices.
Mandatory Basic Platform skills - Mainframe/Unix/AS400/Tandem/Windows
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of security and audit control requirements
Personal Computer user skills
Preferred Security compliance and awareness 6-12 months
