IT Architect - Saint Cloud or Grenoble, France.Our client based in Saint Cloud and Grenoble, France, has a fantastic 6 month initial contract opportunity for an IT Architect.
You will be responsible for:
- Overall vision of the Information System and keep the consistency of the IS during its evolution, while optimizing resources and costs.
- Participate in new client requests based on the experts: global architecture, encryption, ensuring the implementation and compatibility with existing equipment.
- Qualify applications for optimal sizing and check/prequalify Change Requests in the Change & Demand Management
- Produce Reporting (contract) for the regular capacity and performance
- Participate in the validation process volumes (Resources Unit) for billing
- Validate documentation written by the experts and prepare architectural documents
Experience and Skills:
- Systems/Backup (architecture/plan)/SAN (storage)
- Virtualization Technologies pSeries (LPARs, VIO Power HA, mobility score)
- complex backup solutions: TSM deduplication tools (ProtecTIER), VTL, Tape Libraries
- Storage technologies (DS8000 Architecture, Easy Tier, SAN FlashCopy S/E, Global Mirror)
- Solutions VMware vSphere 4.1, RS (DRP)
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Fluent English.
