Cisco Network Engineer - French or Dutch speaking
The Cisco Network Engineer will be accountable for the operational support of our internal LAN infrastructure
Duties and Responsibilities:
Incident & Problem Mgt
Is accountable for the stability, availability and quality of the internal LAN infrastructure
Provide expert knowledge to solve complex incident or problems.
Implement improvements procedures and processes to resolve incidents more efficiently.
Maintenance: service availability/quality
Organize the second line support ensuring minimal downtime and customer impact and an efficient use of resources.
Explore the functionality of the LAN infrastructure in order to continuously improve the network availability, stability and quality.
Define and implement action plans related to the enhancement of key tools, systems, procedures and processes.
Projects & upgrade
Is accountable for the seamless implementation/upgrade in production according to quality standards
Is the operational single point of contact with engineering and business partners
Profiles
Knowledge/Experience
Experience of at least 5 years in large network and datacenter environments
Strong knowledge of Cisco Switches and Router configuration
In-depth knowledge of IP routing, BGP, layer 2 and 3 technologies
Hands-on experience in Infoblox DNS & IPAM
Cisco certifications are preferred
Understanding of ITIL concepts
