Our client, a leading Asset Management company, currently seeks a FATCA Project Manager, to be based in London.
The FATCA Project Manager will own delivery responsibility for one or two of the key project areas where the global business lead is based in EMEA, working with the global business lead and with the FATCA EMEA programme lead.
The FATCA Project Manager will be responsible for:
-Develop the plan(s) for solution design and implementation in partnership with the relevant global business lead(s) and the FATCA EMEA programme lead
-Own delivery against these plans
-Engage and influence key stakeholders around the globe to support delivery for each area
-Assist the global business lead(s) in balancing global consistency against local requirements
-Work with the global business lead(s) to track and resolve issues
-Escalate issues as required to the FATCA EMEA programme lead
-Work with the FATCA EMEA programme lead to ensure appropriate project status reporting
As such, the successful FATCA Project Manager will have the following skills and experience:
-Strong project management skills and tenacious approach to chasing action items and resolving issues
-Experience in working in change roles co-ordinating delivery across multiple timezones
-Self-motivated with strong sense of ownership, assertive follow-through and organizational skills; does not require close supervision
-Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills
-Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of the business and good at navigating the firm; respectful of but not intimidated by strong characters
-Good at multi-tasking and enjoys trouble-shooting; able to spot roadblocks and escalate as appropriate to keep the project on track
-Patient, persistent and thorough
-Strong focus on high quality delivery
-Sensitive to the impact of change on individuals
-Considerable experience in asset management
