For our customer we are looking for a consultant to migrate our test function and build environment.Job Description.
Today we have several teams working on BCS in different countries and different locations. We also have different environments for function testing, Hudson, Maven repository etc. Currently we are driving a project to centralize this environment into central locations into IT hubs in different sites.
This work includes setting up systems in a HUB, hardware is already installed, but setting up eg Hudson or Maven. Then all our existing function test scripts needs to be migrated and cleaned up. We also work very much to have high level of automation. This means that we need to make automation improvements when migrating and cleaning up in our existing scripts.
We have several teams that has their own set of function test cases that must be migrated.We have an existing Maven repository that must be set up in and integrated and migrated from the old system.
It is important that this person knows:
- VMWare, Maven, Jenkins, Scripting, Linus, Windows IP Networking and Firewalls.
- The person must be able to drive things and be very hands-on.
- At help there will be a person from the development teams that can guide and knows how things should work.
- We work in an open and agile environment and the person must not be afraid of asking people and by the answers from several designers make a solution that fit most wishes.
- Our S/W designers are very skilled and sometimes demanding. The person must be able to handle this and convince designers on the best solution.
- Finally everything must be documented and the Way of Working with the new system must be descrribed. It would be great if this person also has her/his view on what would be the best way forward for us - a bit of strategic thinking.
