Description
Large retail organization is looking to add a Tester to their team for a 3+ month project You must have experience as a tester and have proven abilities in all aspects of delivering a quality solution to customers.
You must possess the following:
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- The ability to work independently with limited direction.
- Must be able to support Management guidelines and processes.
- The ability to adapt to a wide variety of situations
Demonstrated experience in multiple test techniques. - Knowledge of risk assessment/analysis.
- Ability to work until 5 pm onsite daily is required at all times due to the demands of this project and the nature of the work.
- During test execution and peak project efforts, candidate must be able to work later hours or on weekends as needed.
Technical skill set needed:
- 4+ years experience in testing.
- Must have good knowledge of SQL and SQL commands.
- Experience with integration testing.
- Experience writing test cases, creating bug reports, executing and tracking testing assignments.
- Experience in data validation and cross-system testing.
- Experience in Client Server testing.
- Experience in web based testing is a plus.
- Understanding of retail concepts a plus.
- Experience in HP Quality Center or other Test Management Suites.
- Experience in QTP or other automated test tools is a plus.
