Information Security Consultant - Qatar

The Information Security Consultant is responsible for the overall IT Security program and would be expected to have significant experience in IT Security, including policy creation, review and enforcement; IT Security Management at a large healthcare organisation.
The Information Security Consultant is accountable for:
- Serving as an internal information security consultant to the organisation
- Documenting security policies and procedures created by the client.
- Initiating, facilitating, and promoting activities to create information security awareness within the organisation.
- Performing information security risk assessments and serves as an internal auditor for security issues as required.
- Implementing information security policies and procedures for the client.
- Reviewing all system-related security plans throughout the organisation's network, acting as a liaison to the client's IT team.
- Monitoring compliance with information security policies and procedures, referring problems to the appropriate department manager.
- Advising the organisation with current information about information security technologies and related regulatory issues.
- Monitoring the internal control systems to ensure that appropriate access levels are maintained.

The Government is investing billions into its hospitals, medical centres and institutions to ensure, like most other facilities in the region, are the best and remain the best.
