C#/RAD/Commando Developer - IRD/CDS Front Office - Paris, France
Overview: Tier one investment bank in Paris are looking to hire a C#/.NET engineer to develop their key Front Office risk tools in Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed Income and Credit Default Swaps
Start Date: April 2012
Excellent rate of pay + 3 month rolling contract + rolling contract for 3 years
The client and the role:-
My client is a leading global investment bank in Paris. They are looking to hire a C# Developer to develop mission critical tools for the IRD and Fixed Income/CDS trading floor. The tools will be closely linked to the financial products, risk processes and flows. This position is sitting on the trading floor and will be working very closely with traders and quants. Previous experience working in a fast paced and stressed environment is key to this being successful in this position.
Responsibilities for the C#/RAD/Commando Developer - IRD/CDS Front Office - Paris, France
- To build mission critical trading floor tools
- To understand and translate the business tangible development on the trading floor
- To build and maintain tools that will be used by traders and quants facing IRD and Fixed Income products.
- Training of users for new features
The person: C#/RAD/Commando Developer - IRD/CDS Front Office - Paris, France
- Good knowledge of Front Office environments and products (esp. Interest Rate Derivatives and Fixed Income)
- Excellent commercial experience developing C#/.Net/VBA
- Some Object Oriented knowledge
