Description
Collaboration Support Engineer with experience of Lotus Notes, Rightfax, Citrix and Exchange, required for a 6 month contract in the Venlo area. all candidates must be able to speak fluent English and French, and additionally either Dutch or German.
The main focuses of this role will be:
- Optimize and support collaboration applications (ex. Citrix), in line with engineering guidelines and industry standards, in order to realize high availability of the collaboration applications.
- Execute changes, in line with change requirements and specific procedures, in order to support or improve the collaboration application availability or performance.
- Schedule implementation of changes as well as maintenance and ensure implementation and configuration, in order to contribute to optimal availability of collaboration applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively and in a timely manner to ensure high availability and performance.
- Work closely external vendors, suppliers and/or outsourcing partners.
- Contribute to the formulation of, monitoring of and reporting on service levels and initiate and propose improvements, in order to contribute to the optimization of the collaboration application performance and capacity.
- Participate in IT related projects.
- Escalation of issues internally or externally to suppliers, vendors or outsourcing partners to ensure efficient and timely resolution of operational issues.
- Contribute to the formulation of strategic roadmaps and new technologies.
