ITIL Problem Management Consultant, 6 month contract, Luxembourg
ITIL, 'Problem Manag*', Application, Infrastructure, Network, 'web development', 'solution architecture', 'Microsoft infrqstructure', 'web applications', 'ASP.NET', MOSS 2007.
The candidate will be responsible as followings:
- Identify and assign priorities to problems (ITIL)
- Review priority 1 incidents and recurring incidents to detect problems
- Manage problems according to internal problem management procedures and tools (ITSM)
- Propose evolutions/improvements in the process/tools where needed
- Coordinate and facilitate problem resolution by engaging a variety of support teams.. Analyze the problem, Identify the root cause (RCA), Find solutions and/or workarounds
- Review solution options and/or workarounds
- Assign and follows implementation tasks
- Approve results of corrective actions
- Document the whole process in the problem management application
- Communicate progress of problems to relevant parties
- Organize bi weekly problem management meetings
- Apply Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework knowledge
- Escalate issues for resolution, to avoid reoccurrence or close problem.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in large company, even if not related to problem management.
- Working experience or general knowledge of the ITIL framework is highly desirable.
- Problem solving skills with an emphasis on resolution of complex technical problems.
- Extensive experience in working with application/infrastructure/network teams in complex enterprise environment.
- Experience in Web development, Solution architecture, Microsoft infrastructure, network, web applications, ASP.NET, MOSS2007 or problem management tools is an asset.
You speak fluent French and English.
