We are seeking a Senior UNIX Administrator to work in Beaverton, Oregon on a long term contract for 12 months+.
Job Description
Sr. UNIX Web Admin Role: Manage a mixture of Linux and Solaris systems for Product Creation IT infrastructure. Day to day tasks include working with other Sr. Admins on the team to prioritize requests and support tickets, execute the requests and provide status back to project teams and production support. They manage more that 200 UNIX Servers with the majority being RHEL 5.5 Virtual Machines .
Qualifications
Skills Needed: UNIX administration - Sr. Shell Scripting/maintenance - Sr. Apache configuration (including mod_JK, mod_ssl) - Sr. Tomcat administration/configuration - Sr. Jboss administration/configuration - Very Good communication skills.
