Role Summary/Purpose

This role is to ensure the integrity of the Financial statements for regional sites. Establish JV accounting procedures and drive forward improvements SSA Region. This role involves working closely with other members of the wider Finance team.

Essential Responsibilities

Remotely support the regional finance teams

- Support the controllership & JV Operations team in implementing systems and defining process improvements. Increasing the use of technology/automating current manual processes

- Support the reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis - reduce cycle time

- Drive month end closing activities and working within tight deadlines. Ensuring Policies are adhered to

- Working with the Internal and External Auditors

- Other ad-hoc activities Qualifications/Requirements

- Educated to degree level or equivalent

- Strong Interpersonal Skills/Team Player

- Effective communication skills

- Self-starter and ability to multi task

- Attention to detail

- Commitment to integrity and compliance

- Record of working to tight deadlines under pressure

- Knowledge of US GAAP would be advantageous
