Title: Senior QA Tester
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks a Senior QA Tester. Senior tester is responsible for owning delivery responsibility for specific streams in market risk risk technology teams, ensuring that test plans are created, test cases are documented in Mercury Quality Center, coordinate with development team and business analysts to analyze requirements and manage the overall testing to be of high quality and within the committed time lines to business. In some project phases, responsible for managing delivery between offshore and onshore resources, training of new resources, ensuring that work is assigned appropriately and continuously drive efficiencies for bank.
Required Skills:
- QA testing experience for five years.
- Strong SQL skills (Greater than 3 years).
- Strong Unix skills (Greater than 5 years).
- Experience leading teams both onshore and offshore.
- Other Desirable Qualifications.
- Experience with data warehousing/Reporting, domain experience in financial services.
