The role of Manager, Government & Corporate Affairs will be to develop and implement government affairs and corporate communications activities to support the business objectives.

Key Accountabilities for the role include:

* Government relationship management - supporting all communication and contact with government that relates to industry policy and the introduction of new medicines to the NHS
* Trade association engagement - supports company interaction with Trade Associations
* Policy development and advocacy - policy analysis and development of company positions

Experience/Knowledge required:

* Experience in the Healthcare/pharmaceutical sectors in policy, public affairs and communications, including media relations.
* Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific and economic topics
* Well developed understanding of regulatory and Healthcare environment particularly NICE, SMC, AWMSG
* Ability to manage relationships with a high number of internal and external customers
* Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with government officials, regulators, and other Key Opinion Leaders
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills
