Volt are currently on behalf of a major pharmaceuticals organisation based in West London for a Finance Process Implementation Lead.
THE ROLE:
To lead the implementation of the relevant process R2R & O2C into European countries whilst at the same time transitioning some of the work to a 3rd party business process outsourcer based in India ensuring that the end to end processes are efficient and workable and that staff are sufficiently trained and knowledgeable to carry them out.
Responsibilities
* Liaison with the Global Process team ensure workable processes and keep abreast of changes due to country requirements
* Highlight improvements to processes pre go live and design manual workarounds where required
* Delivery of non system end to end processes for the business unit, ensuring that they are implemented, trained out and communicated
* Lead the business unit in the country and the third party through the change journey to the new operating model.
* Ensure compliance to policy and process is planned and executed in the new business model for the European countries
* Responsible for the agreement and review of Standard Operating Procedures
* Review and sign off transition deliverables for relevant areas of responsibility
* Involvement agreeing organisation structures, ensuring that what is designed is workable and complies with the segregation of duties in the controls framework
* Manage the service at go live until formal hand over to the operational team including process defect management and resolution. Ensure the processes bed in and adjust where necessary
* Put in place service levels for the each market and get this signed off by FD for contract
* Ensure service level reporting & and key performance measures are in place.
* Identifying and working with compliance manager to interpret regulatory policy and any changes to these required for go live.
THE PERSON:
Qualified Accountant
Excellent understanding of the relevant process area
Experience in process design/improvement
Good relationship building skills
Experienced in SAP implementation
Exposure to Shared Services
Working with a 3rd party Business Process Outsourcer
