The global leader in the software industry is seeking a qualified Software Engineer for an excellent contract opportunity.
OVERVIEW:In this role, you'll be working on a tool used by our client's organization to handle bug tracking, data mining, and status reporting. You'll be responsible for working with other members of the development and test teams to build on a new version of this tool. The responsibilities include ownership of multiple feature areas, working technical specs, developing features, and fixing bugs. This particular tool will have wide use across the organization, so you'll get to experience working on the site through multiple versions and getting a chance to use your technical expertise to plan future features.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of designing, implementing, and debugging applications written in C# and the .NET Framework
- 2+ years SQL development experience
- Expertise in user interface programming and the software development life cycle
- Experience with the following technologies:
- WPF/Silverlight (2+ years of experience desired)
- .Net Framework 3 and above.
- Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Prior experience working on at least one shipped WPF or Silverlight application
- Excellent communication skills and team oriented to work with other SDE's, SDET's, Test Leads, and Test Managers on features
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Experience developing SDK's a plus
- Games experience a plus
This contract is expected to be 3 months in duration.
