Energy Consultant, Energy Management, Team Sigma, Building Operations, Council
My Client, a state of the art Council based in Central London, is currently seeking a highly experienced and technically competent Energy Consultant with extensive knowledge of the UK Energy industry experience to assist the Building Operations Manager in a business critical change project.
This role has been newly created out of the current restructure within the Council; and you will be supporting the Building Operations Manager in the collation Carbon Consumption data for 130 Council buildings and office as part of the Council's Carbon Reduction Initiative. The data will then be inputted into the Council's Energy Management system (Team Sigma) and submitted to the Local Government Association.
Therefore it is highly important you have the following skills, which include (but not limited to):
Degree Level (BA/BSC Hons) in relevant field.
Extensive knowledge of the UK energy industry, legislation, and Council/Public Sector procurement.
Ability to implement and review relevant strategy and policies.
Experience in use of TEAM Sigma or equivalent Energy Management Database.
Supply chain and contract management skills, knowledge and experience.
Performance management skills, knowledge and experience.
Project management and project reporting skills and capabilities.
Leadership and team management skills and experience.
Strong and effective communication and influencing skills and capabilities
Experienced user of MS Office
Able to prioritise and organise workload to meet specified timescales.
Experienced in energy consumption data recording, collation and analysis.
Self -motivated and able to work independently and with minimal supervision
If you are the successful Energy Consultant with a proven track record of providing Energy Management advice, proficient in using Team Sigma and Excel, your proven Communications skills must also be excellent in order to deliver high quality outcomes within tight timescales.
